Children will visit participating Main Street businesses to collect holiday stamps on their Passport to Santa (to be provided free at the event to all children). With their completed Passport to Santa, children will enter the Newport Opera House to meet Santa on stage a get a free picture taken with him.
The Newport Recreation Department will have their annual Chili Walk happening from 4 to 6 pm. The festival will also include face painting, a bonfire with marshmallows, horse and wagon rides crafts and letters to Santa inside the Opera House. New this year, we will have hot chocolate, crock pot food and a bake sale in the Opera House as well!
