On April 12, 2025, from 2-4pm in the Sugar River Bank lower parking lot, the Newport Police Benevolent Association will be hosting a special Touch-a-Truck event for 6-year-old Wyatt Lee, who is a first responder fanatic and has been battling Leukemia. Police, Fire and EMS departments from across the state will be bringing vehicles, patches, t-shirts and other memorabilia to give to Wyatt. The event, which is open to the public and free, will be broadcast live by Steve Smith on WCNL. We may even receive a visit from the DHART helicopter, depending on conditions and call volume.
Please come join us for this very special event bringing awareness to pediatric cancer, and to thank the dedicated staff at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth, David's House and the Willy Perra Christmas Program that have given so much to Wyatt's family.
