Navigating Life’s Final Journey Conversations, Choices, Resources
This program will be a safe space to begin or continue to think and speak about the final journey of our lives and/or that of others for whom we love and care. We will discuss conversations, choices and resources which can be helpful to prepare for this part of our life journey. There will be opportunity to learn from a professional who has spent over 40 years caring for people with serious and terminal illnesses. There will also be time to learn from other attendees as we all will walk this path at some point in our lives and some have already had much experience within their families or even themselves. This program is based upon the book by the same title. It was written by Patricia O’Connor, a nurse practitioner and lector. She will be the presenter for this program. It is her passion to pass along the knowledge and wisdom learned during her lengthy career in order to enable people to retain agency (independence/control) and find meaning during their end-of-life journeys. You are most welcomed to join the conversation...it will be richer for your presence !!!
