Scott Biron brings decades of experience and passion to the art of fly tying, having learned the craft in the 1960s in New Hampshire’s North Country. A juried Master Artist in the NH Traditional Arts Program, Scott has been recognized with multiple NH Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Grants, including for his expertise in Traditional New England Streamer patterns and Classic Salmon Flies.
Scott’s work highlights the artistry and history of New Hampshire’s legendary fly tyers, preserving their lost patterns through extensive research, instruction, and publications. As a member of the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild and an Ambassador for the American Museum of Fly Fishing, Scott shares his expertise nationally and internationally.
