Join Dave Anderson, Senior Director of Education at the Society for the Protection of NH Forests, for a special “Hidden Histories of The Fells” hike. This trailside discussion will cover key moments in the history of the John Hay Estate at The Fells, including the visit of President Theodore Roosevelt in late August 1902 and the Hurricane of 1938. We will discover how these historic events are still visible in the landscape if one knows where and how to look! Meets at The Fells Kiosk.  Members: $10, non-members: $15. Advance registration is requested but walk-ins are welcome.
