This community debate will in fact be more akin to a discussion, where everyone in the room will be encouraged to share their views and ask questions of others that address the debate's

Resolution:

"The upcoming election threatens our Republic." So please don't expect there to be a "winner". The extent to which all participants feel they

learned about each other's views will be the greatest indicator of our debate's success. Personal statements from all participants will be encouraged, so that everyone may better understand what life events formed each speaker's views. And the debate's special parliamentary format will encourage everyone to speak or ask questions, but only through the debate chair, to

encourage civility.
